Seems like my newest antibiotic has worked and finally I think I am well. The sweet little one's ear still is draining but doesn't seem to be bothering him at this point so we continue with the cipordex drops until there is no more drainage. May try to get him into the ENT this thursday just to have him check on the tubes to make sure they are alright. I worked yesterday and it was very bad weather, we at one point had to take off all 24 patients and put them, the family members in the waiting room and ourselves in the hallway for about 45 minutes while the tornado warning passed over and most of the sever threat had passed us for the time being anyway. The rest of the day went as smooth as it could but it's hard to catchup and recover from such a huge interruption of tx. On the plus side of the bad weather our local arts festival (Double Decker) was postponed until today which meant I got to go after we left church this morning. It is a huge event, they shut down the square and there are tons of art/food vendors and music and lots and lots of people come. We spent the rest of the afternoon out and about as a family enjoying our time together before the grind of the next week sets in tomorrow. Hope you all have had as good of a weekend as we have (minus the weather). I would like for those of you who believe in the power of prayer to pray for the good folks of our state, there was a lot of devastation and loss of life south of where I am in southern Mississippi from the storms yesterday. I hope you all have a great week and are safe and well!
May God Bless You,
Becca
