Easter.
As this beautiful Easter day has come and gone today, I hope most people stopped and thought about what Easter truly represents. Yes it means Easter Bunny and candy/presents for the kids, it's about new dresses/suits/shirts/ties for all, but the most important thing about Easter is it is a reminder that there is one who went without sin that died on a cross that we might live forever in his Kingdom. We had a nice time in the early morning service at church, and sunday school as always, then we came home and spent time as a family of 3, and then we went on to my sisters house down the drive way to hunt eggs and play outside for a couple of hours. It amazes me how much my child is changing and growing every day and how independent he is trying to become. Independence comes with a price though of messy meal times, sometimes falling down and bumping his head when trying to get in/out of a chair by himself, and most of all it means that he doesn't need the help of his mommy/daddy as much anymore. I am really enjoying this time period with him and can't wait to see what the next 50 years of life brings for my gorgeous wonderful little boy! I hope you have all and as wonderful of an Easter Sunday as we have.
