Blessings....

We are counting our blessings today. Tornado came through last night and hit just down the street, not even a mile from here and killed atleast one person. if it had hit this side of the road we would have been affected. I woke up about 3:00 this morning to a terrible storm and then the power went off, apparently it is about that time that the tornado touched down, I woke up my dear husband and asked him should we go to the hall and he said if I thought we needed to but he thought i was being paranoid. The baby was a asleep and had been since 6 pm and was exhausted so we decided to stay where we were and listen for a while. Then about 30 mins past and everything was quiet again and that part of the storms was over. I was awake until about 4:30 or so and then finally fell back asleep to awake again this morning at 7:15 to more storms. I'm ready for all this weather to be over. I called to check on my mom this morning and found out my aunt's husband had small light heart attack last night. He's going to be alright, probably going to have to have stints placed when they do a heart cath. on monday but he'll be fine. I'm counting my blessings that me and all of our family are safe this morning, and I'm praying for those in our community affected by the storm last night. I hope today finds you and yours safe sound and happy. Give your loved ones some extra love today, you never quite know what is gonna happen during the day and when they won't be there.
