Disney World, Thanksgiving, Birthdays and Christmas.

We went to Disney world Nov. 18th-23rd. We got back to the house Wed night before thanksgiving and then had thanksgiving at lunch with Kelvin's family and dinner with mine which meant more driving traveling. We left for Disney after work Wed the 17th and drove to Mobile, AL (about 6 hours) where we spent the night and got up and met with my Dad and his wife for breakfast as they were on thier way to Pensacola for a job Interview! We enjoyed breakfast with them and then we got on the road to Disney which took about another 8 hours in the car. We arrived at Disney THursday night very tired but very excited to be there and went to bed in anticipation of getting up early to meet up with our group and get into the theme parks! We started off in Animal Kingdom to have a character breakfast with Mickey, Daisy and Goofy with Donald standing outside. Then we went on a safari where we had a Rhino run right up to the Safari vehicle we were riding in. Could hear him grunting as he ran by! We spent the first half of the day in Animal Kingdom and then we split off from our group and rested and went into Epcot that evening. We spent the evening in Epcot until Sweet Adorable Baby Boy Reed got too tired and we headed back to the Hotel to sleep. Got up the next morning in time to get to Magic Kingdom in time to see the opening ceramony at that was awesome and then we spent the day riding and periodically meeting up with our other group of folks to ride things. The Third day we did Epcot in the morning and then went back to the Magic Kingdom for the evening where we stayed until 11pm or so. Fourth day we went to Hollywood and rode and did with the group and that night we went to downtown disney where my toddler slept in his stroller until we decided to try to eat where he woke up grump and ill and made because he was not in his bed asleep so we left and went back to the hotel to eat and sleep. By Tuesday (Day 5) we decided we would do breakfast and leave without going to the park that day because we were tired and ready to be on the road home and we had a long drive ahead of us and had picked up sister's 2 kids for the ride home. We stopped at Pensacola Beach on the way home and got there just about sunset Tuesday night and walk around on the beach and then went to this great little Pizza Joint on the boardwalk. We got up Wed morning spent about half an hour on the beach and off we were to come home. When we got home about 5 pm that evening I was glad to be home where I could sleep in my own bed and enjoy my own things! But we had a great time. ON Thurday we went to Thanksgiving Festivities and then it was Back to the grind of work for me Black Friday! If I can figure out how to post Pictures I will post a few from our Trip.

My Mom's birthday is tomorrow, then my son's is on the 19th we are doing his party on the 18th with A few friends and family. Then my BIL has one on the 21st or 22nd and my cousin's is on the 25th with Christmas and then I turn that evil number... 30... on the 30th... I've had a really hard time excepting that I will be 30 this year. Don't know why it has hit me particularly hard but it has. Guess I'm getting old! I'm looking forward to the next month but it will be a busy one and one that I'm sure will bring lots of Excitement. I'm trying to decide whether I should apply for a promotion at work or not. Don't know if I want the extra stress and added responsibility that comes with it but the money would be nice and the hours would be Mon-Friday no weekends no holidays. I think I would be good at the job but just not sure about it. I hope your thanksgiving was great and that your Christmas will be better I know mine will. I'm just hoping to find a Dance Star Mickey for our sweet man for Birthday/Christmas. I'm keeping my eyes open and looking out for one.

May God Bless You
and keep you very safe this
holiday season....
Becca
