The best things in life are the little ones. My now almost 19 month old started telling us that he love you or love you too when we tell him a few weeks back. That is the best feeling in the world. I'm not sure if he knows what it means yet but it's still sweet to hear him say it back. He talks up a storm and you can understand a lot of it. His babysitter's mom (who also keeps the kids some) was telling me yesterday that he tells them all kinds of stuff while in their care and she can understand a lot of it which is amazing because usually at this stage you can't. And she has kept a lot of kids over the last 30 or 40 years. He is growing and doing so much right now everyday is a new adventure. He immediatly wakes up and wants to be outside. We don't go out as much as he would like because the heat and humidity here can be too much to take during the hot part of the day, but a bulk of our evenings are spent outside running/playing and having a good time. He is learning to jump with his feet out the ground in the last week or so which is so cool to watch. And the other night we noticed he was trying to potty in his diaper so we took the diaper off and set him on his toilet seat and he went poo in the potty!! Never thought I would be so excited about poo. I know he's still too young to seriously potty train but I don't want him to be afraid of the potty when we start training either so I Figured we'd introduce it now and potty train 6 months to a year from now.
On another note I have decided I want to loose about 50-70 pounds and so I'm trying to actively loose weight which is something I've not really ever done. So I'm going to hold myself accountable by trying to blog on my efforts every so often and give updates on how it's going. I hope all is well with everyone else.
May God Bless You and Keep you Safe,
Becca
